Alkaline and Acidic Foods

You can balance your body’s pH level by increasing your intake of alkaline foods. These foods may help ward off diseases and ailments and keep the cells in your body healthier. There are studies to suggest that there are numerous benefits to your health if you follow an alkaline diet. However, if your diet is more acidic, ailments and damage to cells may increase the risk of you having numerous ill-health conditions, which may then lead to pharmaceutical drug prescriptions from your GP. Poor health could be exacerbated by a poor diet. Therefore, the right nutrition and a healthy lifestyle are important factors for good health.
